About 5 minutes is a good conservative answer.

In the future versions of Aether, there will be a ‘confirmations’ counter which tries to find the content you posted on other nodes. After you receive 3 to 5 confirmations, you should be good to go.

This is functionally similar to cryptocurrency confirmations.
